Oh wow. From dvds to footrubs. I think I'll like this place.
Anyway, it's rare that I absolutely have to have a DVD. When I do buy a DVD, it's either because there was just something about the movie I loved, or one of my favorite actors is in it. I have quite the growing Sandra Bullock collection
I think the last DVD I was really excited about buying was Knocked Up. I had gone to see it in theatres the day it came out because it looked hilarious and Katherine Heigl starred in it (also one of my favorite actresses). I think I get more excited about TV shows on DVD more so than movies. I love to get a box set of one of my favorite shows, and then just sit down and veg out as I work my way through the season and all the extras on the DVD that give extra insight into the production process is pure love.
I have a Netflix subscription, so more often than not, I'll just rent a movie. If it's a movie I think I'll watch over and over again, then I'll buy it or ask for it as a gift.
