I have no budget specifically for DVDs, but I do know that with the budget for the rest of my life being so tight, I haven't much money to spare for them. I tend to wait till they are no longer brand new, and if I am not desperate to see them then I wait even longer.
But the best for me is the legally downloaded rentals that you can do online. Not too expensive and I can get them to watch without ever leaving my office.
