Well we went to see Horton yesterday and it was a total blast! She knew the story well from the book already, and so was whooping and hollering along with the film-and you could see that she was really into it!

But the credits came around and we got our stuff together when she started crying. "Mummy, I need something to vomit in" she said to me, and her sobbing got harder. I got the lid off my empty cup just in time for her to fill it.

So-is the excitement just too much? As much as we loved it, we had a terrible day afterwards and so I am not sure how soon we will repeat the trip.

Give the poor kid a break Rick !!! It was just a bit too much excitement,
don't penalize her for one little mishap... It could happen to anyone,
it sounds like she had a really good time at the show up to that point...
I'm thinking it was probably just a one time thing... The theater can
be pretty overwhelming the first time out... Give the poor kid
another chance, I bet it will never happen again...
