i never knew this but apparently movers only work monday through friday. which is a bunch of crap since everyone usually prefers to move on a weekend. and the movers who do work on the weekends charge time and a half!
my mom is way stressed out about it all because there is no way we can move everything by ourselves (my mom and i are moving into a duplex together at the end of the month). so she wants a contract and everything so she knows someone will be there. so we're still looking. we have a couple prospects that aren't going to charge us an arm and a leg, so hopefully something works out.
has anyone else had this problem? i just think it's so crazy.
