I did this in order to give you a little perspective from the early settlers and how many came to hate the native Americans. For the sake of anyone else reading this I will clarify this as there WERE peaceful agrarian tribes, but when the early white settlers returned home to find their family butchered and often eaten by the warlike tribes that raided whites and indians alike, they (the settlers) could not tell the difference between friend or foe, so all 'Indians' suffered.

I recall we had a debate about that now that you mention it. I believe i was unaware of any mentions of North american indians and cannibalism in the books i've read. I was under the impression that it was just the South americans, so you got a point there. I haven't checked up on the indians in the north too much, i know some but far too little about all the various tribes and their customs. I'm not particulary inclined to start another debate on the indian issue in the midst of the already ongoing debate between you and Mitch, that's quite enough as it is to fill a whole thread by the looks of it.
