I'm a big DLP fan. And my big I mean 65" big.
For HD size does matter, I think. Plus, the advances in DLP are incredible. The are more affordable and more durable than the other options. LCD is nice but you risk losing pixels. Plasma starts to fade and die after 8 years.
With DLP all you have to do is buy a new bulb in five years. $300 is far cheaper than most of the expenses on Plasma or LCD. The mirror problems and Light Engine issues are not as frequent as you might expect.
