I've got a 47" 1080p LCD for the fun stuff and some crappy 27" cathode ray thing for regular everyday watching.

I am not challenged in this regard. I have my 146" screen to keep me going for anything that I wish to watch. The funny thing is after a while that is not what you may want to do all the time. It can wear you out. It is just like going to the movies. It is always a different experience.
