Default Bond on BD

Anybody grabbing either the james Bond 3-packs or any of the single-disc editions?

I was almost about to buy Vol.2 as well as Dr. No, but then that voice in the back of my head asked me:
"How many times have you bought these films?"

Then it occurred to me: I've owned all or most of all the Bond films on;
-VHS
-Laserdisc
-DVD (first versions)
-DVD (2nd versions)

I skipped the latest DVD incarnations though, sensing that hi-def would usurp them.

So I've decided to hold off until I can find them dirt cheap in the future. While I love about 70% of the Bond franchise, I just can't drop hundreds of dollars yet again. I'm sure that a price drop will happen fairly quickly, so I'm good to wait.

I'm debating. The GF just picked up For Your Eyes Only and Octopussy in the 2-disc version at Circuit City, they have them this week for $12.99 each, plus if you buy 2 you get an additional $5 off (great deal to me!) I'm debating on Thunderball, but I already own the ones I had to get, namely Dr. No, The Man with the Golden Gun, and The Spy Who Loved Me. Those I won auctions from Ebay where someone was selling the previous 2-disc Ultimate Editions separately from the box sets. So there's no reason to upgrade anytime soon. There are probably 3 titles which I'll probably still get, but the rest I won't lose any sleep if I don't own them right away.

I don't see the point in buying discs I already have in another format. Right now, and for a considerable while, I will be focusing on buying new releases instead. It would take something pretty special to double up.

There is no way I can afford all the Bond films on BluRay. I'll have to be satisfied starting with the new series only.

I'll eventually cherrypick. I don't need to own hi-def versions of suckfests like The Man With The Golden Gun, Moonraker or Die Another Day.
