Apologize for what? I love learning about what other people think about certain films. I do find this movie fascinating though.

I just try to avoid the internet entirely when i'm drunk, since my ramblings are slightly less than coherent, and friends try to have me on a bit

That said, you should not have to apologize for your thoughts on Fifth Element if that's how you really feel. There's probably a good reason that the film was panned upon initial release, although some of those same reviewers have reconsidered their stance in recent years. The movie just seems to take a while for many to truly understand and appreciate it.
