Default What Are You Reading?

So what's been collecting dust on your night stand? Got a book you can't put down (possibly because if you do, it will explode and kill all the characters inside)?

Tell us about it here!

I'll start, just by saying that I've started book 3 of The Chronicles Of Narnia, which would be A Horse And His Boy.

I bought the set for my girls, but since they're still too young to totally grasp the stories I figured I'd get around to reading them.

Over the last 6 months I read the entire Shannara run by Terry Brooks. That includes the Word and Void series which I absolutely loved. I am really looking forward to his new book coming in August.

I'm one of those annoying people that reads several books at once.

Recently finished:
The God Delusion -- Richard Dawkins (excellent read by the way)
The Silent Speaker -- Rex Stout
The Brain of Morbius (Doctor Who) -- Terrence Dicks

Reading now:
The Second Confession -- Rext Stout
The Murder of Roger Ackroyd -- Agatha Christie (I've never read Christie before)
Evolution What the Fossils Say and Why it Matters -- Donald R. Prothero (just started this one no verdict yet)
The Ancestor's Tale -- Richard Dawkins (another one I've just started)

i'm really into vampire books right now. i'm reading the anita blake vampire series by laurell k. hamilton and i'm also reading the sookie stackhouse series by...charlain thompson i believe. i'd have to grab my book to check. although they are both about vampires they are completely different styles.

i never thought i'd be into vampire books to be honest, but twilight got me hooked. and my boss has recommend lots to me, so now i'm on a roll!

also, thanks for getting a book section in aperio now i can quit bugging you about it, haha

Right now I am reading "Kids Who Laugh", a book about developing your children's sense of humour. Prior to that I read "Playful Parenting".

Otherwise I tend to just read kids books. Aren't enough hours in the day for anything else!

I'm reading this one too! I'm finding this book a bit boring though <yawn>. It doesn't seem to have as good a storyline as the first 2 books. No wonder, they skipped making a movie of this. I'm just reading it to learn more about Narnia.

Yeah, it's a bit slow getting into it. But I must be a completist and read the whole thing...

Currently, I'm reading Saving Faith by David Baldacci and just finished a book called Obssession by Jonathan Kellerman. I love the summer because I have way more time to read and get to go to the library a lot.

Currently, I'm reading The Prize Winner of Defiance Ohio: How My Mother Raised 10 Kids on 25 Words or Less

It's a very long title, I know, but it's a great book. I've seen the movie and that inspired me to read the book
