When I was a kid, I used to read pages from the dictionary but I made it more of a game. I would scan the words and when I didn't know the word, I would try to guess the definition by what it sounded like. I know it sounds rather strange but I guess I was a rather strange kid.

i tried reading it when i was younger, but i always found another book that was more interesting. although i do love how in the movie "the baxter" both michael showalter and michelle williams' characters are reading it for fun at the same time and share their favorite word definitions. so cute!

I love thumbing through the dictionary and picking out a word I don't know and testing it out. I also like to look up commonly used words to see if they are used correctly. Like the word "virtually" or "patriotic". :D

I cant help but pass this along to you all. I watched it this week and as soon as I read this thread I knew I had to if I didn't I would feel I was letting you all down for something quite funny (at least to me it was).
