Default Stephen King's The Cell

I've just finished reading this. Initially I thought it was going to be the typical apocalyptic book but it's not! He really is a very gifted writer.

Anyhow...there is one thing I don't understand. Does anyone know what the dates at the end of the book mean? December 30, 2004-October 17, 2005?

I have yet to read his works, for some unexplainable reason i never come around to do it, and still i like many of the movie adaptations... I have heard enough about "The dark tower" and "Talisman" to wake my interest, so i'm going to get a hold of those to begin with. As for "The cell", it is due to be released as a movie in 2009 last i checked on Imdb, sounds like it has potential in the right hands.
