Book Recommendations?

When I buy books I usually just stick to a few writers.

My go-to writers are usually Stephen King and Michael Crichton (too bad he passed away). I enjoy suspense / thriller / mystery books. Hate romance, self-help, or even inspirational ones. Fantasy and sci-fi books are a hit-or-miss for me so I either like them or not.

Now, I'm in the mood for a new book and I wanted to find out from you guys (and ladies) if there were any other writers worth checking out?
