Default Are you tired of animated films?

It seems as if every Summer there's some new kids animated movie coming out.

Do you think film companies are using them as an easy way out? Do you want to see return of live action films?

The answer to your question is a big no. I'm glad that some companies always think of the young ones. Can you imagine if there are no animated films? The children will be force to watch those violent films instead. What will the children turn out to be when they grow old?

I'm a cartoon monkey, so animated films never get old. I do think sometimes the studios shortcut a film. Take for example Surf's Up. I thought that was a pretty lame excuse of a movie without much interest.

Now, surfing monkeys... that would have been a class act...

Nope, not tired of them at all. But it has been quite some time since I trekked to the theaters to watch one. I don't think all animated movies are good though. I think the only one I really enjoyed was Shrek and by the 3rd installment of that one, I didn't care whether I finished it or not. Maybe it does say something about the quality of animated movies....

I can't say I wished they weren't made since the latest ones are pretty nice. I was alwasy in love with animation and cartoons and I do find time to watch them. The old ones are very nice with that "cartoonish" look of them. The latest ones are absolutely awesome when you think about how many things they can do with computers and 3D. They awake the kid in us, no matter the age
