Cinema Advertising

The advertising at mine isn't too bad. I'll often get there 10 to 20 minutes before the movie is supposed to start. Ill chat with friends and ignore whatever goes on. Then when the movie is supposed to go on, I guess 10 to 15 minutes worth of previews are shown. I don't mind the previews really. It gives me a chance to see what is coming out and more often than not, that's when I decide if I'm going to see an upcoming movie if I hadn't heard of it before.

I'd just as soon do without all the advertising myself... I mean I can go home and watch commercials on TV for free all day long... When I'm paying my good money, I shouldn't have to watch that crap... It wouldn't be as bad if you could like pick trailers you want to watch, but that is not the case... Its just a fluke of luck if something were to actually come on that you might really want to see... Something that I would like to see is a count down clock out over the door telling you how much longer before the movie starts... Then you would know just how long you had till the movie started so you could go pee, buy candy and drinks, smoke if your so inclined or whatever... So no, I don't like to pay to watch advertising, I have better things to do with my time...
