Spiderwick would be my choice. I adored the books, and the movie previews haven't been disappointing looking either. Fool's Gold looks funny, but not my cup of tea as its stupid funny not engagingly funny. The Bucket List looks like a solid bet, but could go either way.

I actually just read a review of Jumper on another forum I frequent.. .they were less than thrilled with it. They said it was one of those that appears to have an ending that has set up for a sequel...and if there isn't a sequel then it is just a really dumb ending.
That being said, i think i'd vote for Spiderwick. |

No, i've changed my mind.. I say throw caution to the wind and watch them all... you know - waste an entire day - pay for one movie then sneak into each one after the next. Then, run back here and tell us which one is the best so: a) We don't waste our money and b) We don't have to waste an entire day like you did! Woohoo - go me and my brilliant ideas!!! |

![]() Lets see "Fools Gold": A action, comdy, love story, it might be ok... It has the same director that directed "Hitch" and I liked it pretty good... But then it stars Matthew McConaughey, and I don't much like him... Then theres "Jumper": I like sci-fic and I like Samuel Jackson, he plays the bad guy in this flix... But after reading the story line, it just sounds to far fetched... I don't think I would like it... "Me & You, Us, Forever": Chick flix love story, enough said... "The Spiderwick Chronicles": A action, fantasy with goblins, gremlins and such... Its a story about three kids investigating the mysteries that surround their creepy new home... I might actually like this, it sounds like fun... "Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins": A comedy with Martin Lawrence, about a successful talk show host that leaves Los Angeles to reunite with his family in the Deep South... I don't like Martin Lawrence at all, yeah I know I'm hard to please... "27 Dresses": Another love story, I may end up having to watch this when it comes out on DVD but I won't lke it... "The Bucket List": A comedy with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman, its about 2 terminally ill men that escape from a cancer ward and head off on a road trip with a wish list of to-dos before they die... Yep this is my pick, with those 2 actors playing the lead rolls this movie will have to be good...
