Default Horton Hears a Who!

I think is going to be my daughter's first movie and I am very excited about taking her! She's just turning 3 years old and so the timing of this is perfect.

Have you seen the trailers? Anyone else taking little ones?

Exclamation A must see for little ones !!!

Wow Ricky, I really envy you taking your 3 years old daughter to see this...
She will love it, and she will love you for taking her... I'd love to just sit and
watch the looks on her face as she watched this movie... I just love little girls,
I love to hug them, and squeeze them. and kiss them, and heck I could say that
about girls of all ages... But just from watching the trailer, I think this flix will be
very successful... Just the concept of having a whole little microscopic community
on a speck of dust is so fascinating, especially to a child that I think this movie
could very well become an instant classic... Well, I really can't say that, I think
this story was already done on TV 30 years or more ago... But they didn't have
the all star cast then that they do now... Which includes Jim Carrey as the elephant
I think, and Steve Carell as one of the little microscopic people...
This is a must see for all the little ones out there...

Haven't seen the trailer yet. But I won't be taking my kids to see that, I can tell you. I took them to the theatre over mid-winter break (2 weeks ago). Those kids behaved so badly I'm not taking them to a theatre for a long, long time.

Anyone who is interested can see the trailer here; Apple - Trailers - Horton Hears A Who

It really does look a fantastic movie, and a big improvement on the 1970s version. The book itself is of course a classic, and I too can see this being a big hit-this year's Cars even.

Wow, they are seriously making a film out of this?

Pretty surprising, but it should prove to be a worthwhile venture for a childrens movie. The other recent Dr. Seuss films did very well, so it only makes sense that they would seek to keep that going by making another one.
