Just saw 10,000 BC

Almost every movie review I saw said this movie wasn't worth spending $10 for. Well, I disagree. Their criticism was that the movie wasn't realistic. One said it was a rip-off. Well, if anyone has lived past 10,000 BC and can validate the movie, then I'll be happy to hear them out. But haven't they heard about fiction, fantasy or even imagination? I liked the special effects of the wooly mammoths and man-eating giant ostriches. The saber-tooth was a bit too CGI-looking. Parts of the movie were a bit cheesy but I didn't expect it to be perfect anyway.

My husband says Apocalypto is better but he doesn't regret going to the movies for this. I think people should not treat it as a period piece.

I want to see this so bad and I think if its really good I would be willing to even pay 15 bucks for it. I am a biggie for history movies but it can be a little cheesy too I don't mind that much, unless its way off base then I got some issues.

I am so glad to hear this good review. I really want to see this in the theatre but wasn't sure if it would be worth the money.
I guess it's time to give the sitter a call because me and my hubby are going out this Friday night!

I saw it without even knowing i was going to see it. I went with my girlfriend and we got in there and i was like what is this? But it turned out to be a good movie after all

I did end up seeing it and thought it was pretty good. I was expected more shots with the big cat though so that kind of surprised me a little bit, but overall a B I think (not b rate, just be like in school grades wise).

I almost ordered it on Demand last night but didn't really know enough about it to go for it or not. I might try it later if the mood takes me again.
