Default Does Your Concession Stand Give Refills?

Let me explain:my husband is obsessed with Mr Pibb soda. Unfortunately for him we live on the wrong side of the Mason-Dixon line....I mean we're practically in another country some days. But after we got a Ruby Tuesdays it has started to sneak into soda fountains in the area. One of them is the local theater. Since we normally get the jug-o-cola to share he normally begs for a refill before we leave to drink on the way home (no joke he's got empty legs I swear). They've always been good about refills but other theaters are all "no" and mean. Do you get refills?

You know, I know there are refills on popcorn in my neck of the woods, but i've never tried to get one on a soda. Interesting question...

Yes but we have to pay for them unless we get the super large cups, and we are not able to refill after the movie is over. I don't know about the popcorn either.

Yeah. At the AMC theatre in the mall near us, they do give refills ONLY if you buy the large drink.

Ours are set up so that if you buy the jumbo size of either the drinks or the popcorn, you get free refills....but after 'that' much soda or popcorn, rarely does anyone need the refill anyway. And most people don't want to leave in the middle of the movie to get the refill either.

Hey guys, thanks for the info. I had no idea you could get a refill on the jumbo size drink. That makes the $5+ dollars you pay for it almost worth it! I don't even know how much it costs - my husband always gets it.

Do they get suspicious if you ask for half a dozen straws? We could get the jumbo size and refill it like five or six times for all my friends. Now I just gotta figure out how get enough of my friends together at the same time to shell out for admission. Probably not abiding by the spirit of the thing am I?

Lol, Pico you're evil. This does make going to the movies together with the family one step closer to being affordable. Now all I need to do is figure out how to get all the kids in for free. Anyone have any ideas?
