* Iron Man *
* Iron Man *  Me and a couple of my buds went see this movie last night and we all agreed it was great... For me, Iron Man is just so much more of a believable super hero... Far more so than superman or any of the other super heroes that have super powers for one mysterious reason or another... Tony Stark [Robert Downey Jr] is just a super intelligent man with health problems [incurred in a military encounter in the movie] that he overcomes and builds a super suit to fight for world peace... This is a real guys movie, not one to take a date to... Girls probably wont care much for is movie, there is a small tiny little bit of a love story between Tony [Robert Downey Jr] and Pepper Potts [Gwyneth Paltrow] his assistant in there, but nothing that the girls can really sink there teeth into... Tony has the scientific man shop that all us guys dream of and whole bunch of sweet sports cars parked right there in the shop with him as he works... The special effects where fantastic, storyline was pretty good and the good guy prevails in the end... I highly recommend this movie for all the guys, but you might probably want to leave the girls at home for this one... I'm going to be dreaming about flying for weeks to come now... lol !!!

I guess I'm not your typical girl. I LOVED THIS MOVIE!!! I even heard a movie critic say that he used to think Spiderman was his favorite superhero until he watched Iron Man. The fact that a regular guy turns into a superhero by his own sheer genius(not by radioaction, or some mutation) is something to be admired. I really hope Robert Downey Jr. doesn't spiral into drug addiction again because he really is a very good actor that can have a lot going for him. I agree with you CC that this is really a must see!

I would love 2 C this flix. And u say it has a little love story in it 2. Yeah i would like it.

Looks like this is one that I'm going to have to convince my wife that it is worth going out with the guys to see. My wife prefers romantic comedies and isn't into action so thanks for the heads up. I don't think she would like it.

If your wives or girlfriends sat through any other super hero movies without too much complaining, then they should be fine with Iron Man. It's much more realistic (as realistic as super hero movies can be) and the cast is top notch.
