I took the family to see this movie on Labor Day since it was playing at the dollar theater. My wife and kids loved it. I thought it was dumb, but I had just finished watching a Shaw Brothers production of Shaolin Temple (1976) earlier that morning. So I had just watched a kung fu classic and then saw Kung Fu Panda in the afternoon and thought it was a waste of money. Maybe if I hadn't watched Shaolin Temple I would have like Kung Fu Panda better.

My nephews, 4 and 7, loved this movie and I enjoyed watching them enjoy it. Of course, the worse part of watching a kung fu movie with two young boys is that they will be playing Kung Fu Panda for the next month or more. Time to nail everything down for those forseeable "accidents".

Enjoyable family film but definitely not a classic. It must be coming out on DVD soon does anyone know when because I was thinking of buying it for my little sister?

I am so burnt out on these Dreamworks films, but Jack Black makes me want to at least give Kung Fu Panda a fair try. Shrek is over-rated, and I didn't care for Dreamworks other films much at all. Jack Black is great at saying otherwise mediocre films though.

We were lucky to watch it again for free in the movie theatre. Free or not, I would gladly have spent $10 to watch it even without the kids. It was hilarious! Plus, I would think kung-fu fans would enjoy an animated movie like Kung Fu Panda.

which sadly wouldn't be saying very much, considering what the competition was like this year and all. Jack Black is hilarious though, and he was about the best guy they could have picked for a film like Kung Fu Panda, especially since he has a way of attracting skeptics to his films.

I saw this movie when I was going to Asia a couple months back and it was hilarious. I loved this movie.
