7 Pounds- My Review

I really loved the performances by all involved in this film. They made this film what it was. I can't go into much detail about the plot but I will say that I knew what was going on 20 minutes into the film. I can't say that I cared for the whole thing because of the plot itself. Again, I can't say why.

I would have a hard time watching this movie again but it is great for the first time around just to watch things unfold.

Will Smith was phenomenal in his portrayal of his character

I read somewhere that Will Smith stars as a man who sets out to change the lives of seven strangers in this movie...
From that one line alone I'm guessing this is one of those tear jerker kind of movies I hate...
Its probably a good movie, but I think I'll try and miss it...
I don't like movies that make me cry...

Not in the least. If you went through what he did and had to deal with the things he did, you would be acting the same. I loved the performances and thought they were dead on. You have to put it into perspective once youv'e seen it and really understand all that caused him to do what he did.

I'm glad we have this forums. Otherwise, I wouldn't hear of any different views than those of the critics...who aren't always right.
