I think there's an interesting contradiction in the media between gay marriage versus celebrity marriage.
How is it that we're supposed to celebrate when millionaire morons and bimbos get married after a drunken weekend and get divorced 3 months later, and we're supposed to damn a same-sex couple for wanting to legitimize their relationship in the eyes of the law? [/soapbox]

Actually, I have to entirely agree with Stubblecat on this one.
The irony is that a loving gay couple may be together for much longer, than some shallow billionaire playboy, and his equally shallow billionaire wife. When gay couples are called "unnatural" by people who have marriages that last for two weeks!
