liv tyler is officially single

i found this on The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) today and it made me a little sad.

"The Strangers star Liv Tyler and her British rocker husband Royston Langdon have announced their separation, after five years of marriage. Tyler, 30 and Langdon, 36, married in the Caribbean in 2003 and have a four-year-old son, Milo, together. The actress's representative tells People.com, "Liv Tyler and Royston Langdon have confirmed their separation. They remain good friends and devoted parents to their son Milo and are requesting that their family's privacy be respected at this time." Tyler prompted speculation of a split when she arrived at the glitzy New York Costume Institute Gala on Monday without a wedding ring."

Even though i thought they made an odd couple, they always looked happy together. And their son Milo is a cutie! But i wish them all the best, and hope they do remain friends for the child's sake.

actually, my cat came with the name when i adopted him so maybe they decided the name fit a person better than a cat and gave him up...? hm...interesting idea. :P
