Default Their Biggest Celebrity Disappointments

I heard this over the radio a few weeks ago. The group and their listeners were discussing who their biggest celebrity disappointments were. A few examples:

Carrie Underwood (I was shocked) - seemingly sweet on the outside but according to one of the DJs, she was a big B**CH

Samuel Jackson - one of the listeners called and said he had a bad experience trying to take a picture with him.

Brooke Shields - a fan tried to take her picture during the US Open when she was still with Andre Agassi and apparently she got angry at the fan.

Anyone know of more?

I met Ricky Martin when I was younger and he was the cockiets most arrogant dude out there. He was in the same plane we were and everyone kept calling him and asking for autographs, he never once made eye contact or smile. He signed my paper but literally snatched it and threw it back at me. I threw the autograph away! JERK!

I do not think I have came in direct contact with many. I can think of one though, who I will leave nameless but being in the computer field, he ended up thinking he knew everyone and "the world owed him something", crap like that just pisses me off and then I threw out all his books. :D

Fans are for the most part the craziest lot of all. I never understood this revelling in an artists, especially when they are more appearance than talents.

Not to speak ill of the dead but Run DMC were the most arrogant, unprofessional artists I have ever worked with. We had them play at college (and spent 30k all told). They showed up in three sperate cars, with their families (inclusing young children who were up until at least 2am) in tow, and reeked of pot. Their lighting tech was high as well and they didn't even introduce themselves before their set (or appologize to the opening act who covered). Since we were running our own lighting for spots the lighting guy would say "spot on Run" and our kids not knowing who was who (since they didn't introduce themselves) just decided to each pick a person and spot them. This got us 30mins of "this is run and I'm DMC" but since we all had headsets on (noise cancelling) we couldn't really hear them. They had a rediculous rider as well which included almost $300 of specific items we cut down to about $100. They barely touched anything.

I have never come in really close contact with any major celebrities other than going to a concert by country music singers Vince Gill, Conway Twitty, and George Jones. They all seemed to be very friendly and courteous to their fans at the time. However, a good friend of mine said she once saw Kenny Chesney when he came to perform in her town and it was mind boggling how rude he was to everyone around him.
