I was shocked to see this news. It's really tragic to hear someone so young pass away.

I agree this is very sad, I understand that John was very close to his son
and loved him very much... But I have to wonder if the anti-medicine stance
of Scientology had anything to do with Jett's death... I really don't believe
that a E-meter will help much with a seizure disorder...

Speaking of Scientology, a friend of mine explained how their beliefs go...I wonder how much brainwashing is involved to make reasonable people believe in those things....

Scientology has been around for over 50 years now, but it is still not recognized by the main stream as a true religion... Scientology is not even recognized as a word in webster's dictionary... They say things like everybody is a immortal alien spiritual being and we all have hidden abilities that can be unlocked... These are vague statements, not cut and dry... I find most all religious literature to be like this... This seems to encourage different views and evaluations on the same subjects... You would think that a all knowing God would be smart enough to never say anything that could be misconstrue,
but I guess not... To me Scientology seems as plausible as any other religion...
But then it was written by a science fiction writer, L. Ron Hubbard...
I guess I can kinda see that as a strike against it...
