Default Do you have surround sound?

How many of you have surround sound systems to watch DVDs? We got a great deal on a DVD player with a built in home theatre system and it's amazing!

Well, I certainly don't have no surround sound right now, and certainly no home theatre system.

My television isn't even HD, and I doubt that will be changing anytime soon either.

Money is just very tight right now, so there's a lot of things I would like but cannot get.

That's just how things go sometimes I guess, but it doesn't make me happy

I do have a surround sound system, but its a really cheap one that I think my brother gave me for Chistmas a couple of years ago... I think its made by Mattel or Hasbro, I've seen it in Wally World for like $69.95 or somewhere in that range... It has 5 tiny speakers, each one about the size of a pint jar... Then it has a little subwoofer about the size of a bread box... And I have never spread them around the room like the paper work tells you too... They are just pretty much spread out on one wall with the TV... But surprisingly enough they make a pretty big sound, they do well enough that I have not wanted to replace them... I tried to find a picture of a system that looked something like mine to post, but I couldn't find anything that looked as crappy as mine... lol...

I do have a surround sound system with my DVD player. Good thing I bought the home theater promo along with the plasma TV I bought. It made the whole watching experience awesome!

We do, but only because we found last years Sony Dreamtheater open box at Best Buy. So instead of the $200 we sent $99 and got a gift card. *dances* Not the best, but it still makes the walls shake when you watch an action movie.

Default suggestions

I don’t have a surround sound at home, but my brother-in-law have one. Whenever he goes back to his house he bought at least one. I think that I’m going to buy one to use with the DVD player I will be buying. I wonder what brand I shall buy.

Can anyone here suggest a good brand?

My husband just asked today when we could get a surround sound system.
So looks like we may be getting one when I catch one on sale..

I have some speakers on my PC. Old ones, bad ones. I never wanted to invest in a sound system since I don't really have the time to listen or watch something. And since I have a lot of neighbours in the block, I cannot afford being too noisy. So my old speakers do a good job
