Do you prescreen movies for your kids? Where do you draw the line on letting them see things?
For us, violence is something we don't want our kids watching. And no drugs either. And shows that portray parents as stupid dolts or in which the children have a serious lack of respect for elders. I'm not old-school, I just don't think perpetuating this sort of behavior is helpful... kids do it enough on their own! I'd rather my kids see a make-out scene than violence, because afterall, sex is a natural part of life and while violence is, I don't want it to be.

Make love, not war, man.
