Default Imax type movies

I have seen a couple of movies at Imax, and have not been all that impressed. I saw Beauwulf (spelling?) a few months ago, and while it was neat, I did not think the Imax version was all that much different. What do others think? Are certain types of movies better for this than others?

I have seen Dinosaur on Imax. I think that the movie is rather realistic. I don’t know why are you saying that Imax movies aren’t that good. I guess, it all depend on how we look at things.
What made you say that Imax version aren’t that good?

I've never been to an Imax movie that was released mainstream. I normally went to educational ones such as the Smithsonian ones, and they were always filmed for imax and amazing. I'm not sure what mainstream movies do to make them different for imax, or if they do anything different. I wanted to see Nightmare in Disney HD though.

I have taken my kids to a few movies at the Imax and they really enjoyed them and so did I.
Matter of fact they said that they liked it much better than going to the REAL movies as they called it.

I don't know, the silly glasses, fuzzy picture...
I've only been and seen it one time...
But I didn't care much for it...
