Default World of Warcraft Movie?

I have seen comics and even some video games turned into movies. Some did better then others. I got to thinking what if there was a movie based on World of Warcraft?

From what I know, such a movie already exists :| Haven't seen it, I'm not such a big fan of WoW either, but anyways... Here are some links that could help you:

World of Warcraft - the Burning Crusade (2007): World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade (2007) (VG)
World of Warcraft (2004): World of Warcraft (2004) (VG)

Those links are not movie of this game, its the cinematics that are inside the games. I have played Warcraft even from the first game where there is still a grid where the character goes. The cinematics done by Blizzard (company who made Warcraft) creates cinematics that has a quality of an animated 3D movie.

I also wish there could a movie based on this game. Tomb Raider and Resident Evil have been successful in becoming a movie. I guess Warcraft will be the same if it will be made into a movie.

To be honest, I would prefer they didn't make Warcraft into a movie.

While the potential for a good film is definitely there, I am pretty certain it would turn out horrible.

That's just how most of these comic/game film adaptations turn out, like complete rubbish.

Until they can start making films that due the game franchises justice, they really shouldn't bother with it.

I think there are too many things with WOW to make one good film, it would end up being like starwars with a movie every few years, and the game would bypass the movie and turn into more waste than worth.

I don't want to see a WoW movie. Not all games made into movies do well, I seem to recall a Final Fantasy movie that hardly got any attention. I think a Halo movie is more likely in any case.

Oops, sorry, I didn't check them very well! I was so sure such a movie already exists... The game is very popular, so i don't know why I was under the impression that a movie after it was created or is about to :|
I think a movie after WoW would have huge earnings, as the game has lots of fans. I guess it also depends on the screenwriter...

Yeah, the cinematics are great, but I'd rather not see it made into an actual movie. The clips entice people to go play the game or build them up expansions or content addition (Sunwell is here!), but if I wanted all the lore and such, then I can see it in clips elsewhere....having a full-blown movie would need more to it than the content that's already there, and it would have to be content that they planned to actually put in the game then. Sounds messy to me.
