Default What did you think of the Oscar winners?

Best movie: No Country for Old Men
Best actor: Daniel Day Lewis - There will be Blood
Best actress: Marion Cotillard - La Vie en Rose
Best supporting actor: Javier Bardem - No Country for Old Men
Best supporting actress: Tilda Swinton - Michael Clayton
Best animation: Ratatouille

Here's the complete list: OSCAR.com - 80th Annual Academy Awards - Winners

But what do you think? Are you going out of you way to rent these movies or see them in the theatres just because they won?

I have never in my life wasted my time watching the Academy Awards or Oscars...
I've always thought of it as a show for the actors, so let them watch it...
Is all I need from it is the results, thx's for the list there snookumsnort...
I did take special note that the Phillip Pullman movie "The Golden Compass"
won one for visual effects... That put a smile on the old CopyCat face
knowing that will mean many more thousands of people will be
watching this film... Yes, this makes me a happy Cat...

Agreed. I find awards shows extremely boring. I find reading the results of the awards shows boring. Not to be rude, but until the actors decide to attend my annual review at my crappy job and celebrate my insulting .15 cents an hour raise, I won't be wasting any moments of my life celebrating their heads swelling any more than it already is.
