Hi Cindy, I'm so sorry to hear about your sister in law... I hope she has good insurance, because chemotherapy, drugs, and or surgery can be very costly... A lot depends on how advanced the cancer was when they caught it... If they catch it early before the cancer cells leave their original location to invade the surrounding breast tissue, it won't be bad... But you said the "aggressive kind", that sounds like invasive cancer... There are 4 stages of invasive cancer, 1 or 2 are not too bad, 3 and 4 are bad... I do wish her the best, and the same goes for you and yours... ![]()

I don't know what stage its in.. But I do know that it appears to be attached to her ribs its HUGE my brother told me, They said that its a large mass so its pretty big.. There is something in the other breast as well But don't know if that is cancer or not.. I am fixing to call and get a update on her.. Thanks for all the prayers.

You definitely have lots of prayers and well wishes from this neck of the woods. My friend's nephew was diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma, which has a pretty grim diagnosis...(he had 3 lymph nodes removed) he's been on a lot of prayer chains and has had some healing masses said for him - and ironically, the doctors can't believe how well he's responding to the treatment... to the point they actually had to double verify the potency of the meds to make sure he was receiving the right amounts... (he was)
Moral of the story, keep the faith! ![]() |

Cindy the (MRI) is much better at looking at the extent of disease... They are considered to be more than twice as effective as mammography in detecting the number and extent of breast cancer tumors... It is imporant to know the extent of disease in order to appropriately plan a therapy program... After her doctor looks at it he will know exactly what he is dealing with... My thoughts are with you guys...

Thanks.. So if the MRI is much better than the mammography wonder why he didn't do the MRI first? Well anyways I still have not heard anything about the MRI yet I would say it may take a day or so to get the results back.
