Question Elephant paints picture ???

Well when a buddy told me he had seen a video of a elephant painting
a picture on YouTube I ask him, its fake right... So he tells me no,
so I'm like oh come on you know its got to be a trick or something...
So he says no I don't think so, theres to many videos with different
elephants doing it to be fake... So I go home skeptical, but at the
same time thinking... Well maybe an elephant can make a really
crude drawing of some kind... So when I get home I google
elephant painting and I am fricking shocked !!! You guys
watch this and tell me if you think its fake ???

Elephants are incredibly intelligent animals, no one can deny that. Their trunks are sensitive, and capable of picking things up so I can believe that they have the dexterity. And the video really does look genuine-there is no where that you could pick out a splice of them changing to another slot. But that being the case then *bleep* that's a bit outstanding.

Ok and I just went and Googled it. I found an article on National Geographic about elephants being trained to paint. So yes, it is indeed amazing, and true.

wow! Will wonders never cease. It didn't look fake to me, and dangit if that elephant isn't a better artist than me (that's not saying much!). I went and googled too. I'm amazed.

Cool

Yes well I have gone back and read up on this some myself
and again I'm just totally shocked... I've seen elephants in the circus
as a boy and yeah there smart for an animal... But this seems a little
different to me, h@ll a lot different... This is creative intelligence plain
and simple... I have read that there are also some elephant orchestras
out there that are selling CDs... It makes me think, is it right for us to
enslave these animals for labor ??? Or is this evolution in progress ???
