More Land Before Time?

Most of you probably keep up with "grown up" movies instead of cartoons, but I watch my niece on weekends. She's been obsessed with the Land Before Time movie series for months now and as much as I used to like the original when I was little, I'm soooo tired of them all now.

Does anyone know if they'll be coming out with a new one any time soon? And I've heard there's a tv series and found a DVD with a few episodes on it, but is the tv series any good? I don't want to introduce her to something new that I simply can't stand....and then have her hooked on that, too, lol.

ugh, I just googled. I had no idea! I loved the first one when I was a kid. Are the rest any good at all?

I think they needed to stop at like the third or fourth. There are what like a dozen these days? Never heard of a series, but they don't sound quite the same partway through the series.
