Do you even remember the last movie you watched on VHS? I was just thinking about that today and I think it might have been Ocean's Twelve.

(Is there anyone out there who even uses their VCR still?)

Cool

Whats a VCR ???
Mine is still in the rack, but I know I havn't use the thing in years...
But I'm afraid that as soon as I take it down someone will say,
"you haven't seen so and so movie here I have it on VCR tape"...
But that will probably never happen...

Default We still use ours all the time

We have an extensive collection of Disney tapes which is why we still use the VCR quite a bit. I'm slowly replacing the tapes with DVDs but some of the ones I have are difficult to find on DVD. With Disney's set up now with some movies living in the "vault", I can't get everything replaced until they become available again. Whenever one is released, I have been grabbing it. Once I've replaced all the tapes, though, the VCR will be history.

Yes! It was a Land Before Time movie that my niece has on VHS. The worst part is that I'd forgotten how long it takes to rewind (and fast forward preview stuff). Beyond that, though, I can't remember the last time I actually watched a movie on VHS.

Obviously I'm not the only one who keeps the stupid thing hooked up so the kids and us can watch old movies. It'll be sad when it finally dies because I'm not sure a few old movies will be a good enough excuse to buy a replacement.

Last movies I bought on VHS were Star Trek 10 and The Terminal. However I use the machine for recording from TV all the time-just this morning in fact I recorded a show for later viewing. And yes we watch stuff we recorded a lot.

So I am not ready to give it up yet.

Yep, last thing I watched on tape was the last episode of House (finally a new one!). I wasn't home, and I don't have tivo or a dvr.

Ha! This is funny because I was just telling my husband we should get rid of our VCR because we haven't used it in months. The last thing we watched was a taped episode of Lost from last season.
