iowa city? you'll be near me that's only about 30 - 45 min away. it's kind a college town though, so hopefully that won't be a problem for you guys.

haha nice job copy cat.

but if you must know, quoting distance in time instead of actual miles is a midwestern thing. you just wouldn't understand it might even just be an iowa thing, not sure about that.

and guess what? we also say pop, so take that! hehe

I was living in Keokuk, Iowa 4 years ago... The bald eagle capital of the world...
That is about 120 miles South of where you live now...
I lived there for a year working on that hydro plant there in the middle of the Mississippi river...
So I know a little more than you might think about the Iowa thing...
And we say pop here in NC too, or soda...
And I even had some buggy riding Amish friends when I was there in Iowa...

Well I hope your friend likes to drink a lot...
They seem to do a lot of that there... The little town
has main streets side by side, maybe 12 blocks of businesses there...
And I had a cop buddy there tell me there was 67 bars in that little strip...
I never seen so many damn bars in all my life...
And they all seem to do a pretty good business...
