I have often gladly given a dollar to these poor soles you see at traffic lights
washing your winscreens for spare change... So you can imagine just how
shocked and appalled I was when I saw this news clip on "Real Stories"...

i believe that this really happens, but this video has to be made up. my favorite part is when he picks out what he'll wear that day and he has all these nice suit jackets and one crappy t-shirt. haha

Yeah, when I started it I couldn't help but think it was a geico scam ad. Funny vid but for some reason I thought it had to do with window smashing, not watching. I guess I didn't put in my reading eyes this morning.

It's very funny. Especially the way he justifies his actions. It's a bit hard to believe but I have heard of several 'beggars' in my neck of the woods that are reputed to be anything but poor and destitute.

I remember a guy they called the bagman, who would go around wearing a bag and being homeless. He was one of the richest men in the area but he did this for a good 20 years trying to prove the point that for those who really are homeless are neglected. Everything he had (his house, his money) he all left it to Charity's to fight the homeless issues in the state of Maryland, never once accepting money from anyone on the street, he just wanted to be a good reminder that people really are looked over and not cared for.

Most of those people who wash car windows really need the money. I was a little surprised though, I believe that some of them actually do make a liivng from it, but why would they want to blow their secret?
