The doctor is in... ![]() I'm afraid there is no cure for laryngitis Cindy, you treat it the same as you would a sore throat... So try crushing up a tablet of acetaminophen or even aspirin in a couple or three ounces of water and then gargle with it... After you've done that, put a spoonful of lemon juice and honey in a mug, then fill it up with hot water for relief of the scratchy throat... If you must talk, do it here on your computer... Your voice should be good as new in a day or two... Now you'll have to excuse me, I have a nurse to attend to... ![]()

licorice tea or just the branches to chew on will do wonders for your throat and voice as well. I know thats what my herbalist gives me when I lost my voice at summer camp as a kid. You drink the tea or chew the stuck like a wad of tobacco, lol.
She would also probably ask if there was something you weren't saying. Oftentimes if you are not expressing your feelings to others or being heard you will lose your voice until its rectified. I'd imagine your anger and hurt from being robbed is whats doing it. |
