All These Free Ticket Promotions

Every time I turn around there's another one. Kraft and Indy, General Mills and Speed Racer, and now another with General Mills or Proctor and Gamble at KMart. Its nice to get tickets for free with the stuff we normally buy (and cheaper than at the box office) but its been so hard to keep up with them all. We've racked up 4 sets of tickets for between $5-15 a set. Ticket prices are over $9 each near us.

Actually this is news to me, I haven't seen offers like this. Perhaps I don't buy the right kind of things, in which case I guess it doesn't matter since it makes no sense to buy differently for tickets, when the goods might not be used.

Abigail, some of these promotions aren't on the packages but can be found online at the company's website. One of the grocery stores that I frequent recently had a promotion for movie tickets, too. This came up on one of the checkout coupons. I think the theaters are doing so many right now to get people in the doors. Many people are opting for renting or buying the DVDs and not going to the theater.

So how do you go about finding them? Do you have to check each and every company website every week? That seems like an awful lot of work for free movie tickets.

I would be very interested on how to get free tickets off boxes of cereal too!

I've seen the ones through KMart. I know I don't have a Publix so I don't know about the promotion but I heard they had huge advertisements in the grocery store for them.

Kmart's new one seems to be buy a $50 giftcard and get two tickets to the hulk.

I think I'd rather have them give me tickets through something I buy like that, but not tell me I have to see The Hulk

I've only done ones that gave me the option to see any movie with a ticket price up to $12 per ticket. I'm not about to let them limit me in any way either

Not to mention I don't want to waste a night out on Hulk, Speed Racer, etc. I'd rather rent those and see something better.
