Thanks for letting me have my say CC
I really wasn't that rapid-it worked out as 30lb, in almost 16 weeks, so 2lb a week. It was only that fast because I worked out a lot with it. It has stayed off for another two months, since I stopped actively trying. I just hope for a fast recovery now, so I can be back to parenting. |

![]() I had to go in and make a little change in your post, I hate that title... I'm just one of the guys that just happens to have a few extra buttons and switches on there page... I do hope your feeling ok today, I'm guessing you went under the knife yesterday... Just want you to know that we are all thinking about you... ![]()

170 really isn't all that big if you are fit. I weighed 178 at 15 and was a solid size 8 jeans. My legs were like rocks (as was my head most days) and when the doctor who gave me a physical came in with my chart prepared to have a weight discussion I just laughed at him and asked where he'd like me to take it off of....needless to say my BMI was absolutely spot on for a healthy girl, just a taller one. And yes I really am big boned...they seem to be made out of concrete in our family.
Hope the surgery went flawlessly. Being sick sucks.

I'm back, a bit less whole. I still hurt, but a lot less than I did the couple of days after the surgery.
It was a bit rough to say the least, but I'm on the mend now thankfully. I can only eat half a bowl of cereal (or comparable size serving) at a time, but at least it doesn't hurt any more ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() So glad to have you back... I see your laparoscopic cholecystectomy [big words meaning: removing your gallbladder out threw a small hole using a little camera on a stick] went well... I know you didn't have open surgery because you wouldn't be on here talking to us yet... You should be back to feeling like your old self in another 3 or 4 days... For now don't try and pick up anything heavy, I probably don't need to tell you that your body will... You have probably had some trouble sleeping, that will pass with time... And it maybe several weeks before your energy level is back to normal... But at least your on the road to recovery... ![]()

Yes dear, I know what my surgery was called, and am fully educated as to how the procedure is performed :D Whilst many are passive consumers in the medical business, I am not. I want to be aware of anything and everything that will be done to me, and possible side effects.
Anywho. Sleep comes in three hour chunks and is mostly percocet driven. And I still can't roll over.... |
