Grindhouse Movies?

I just saw two of the recently-made Grindhouse movies. I think both are by Quentin Tarantino. One is Planet Terror and the other is Death Proof. I think they're the best B-movies I've ever seen...if they can be categorized as B-movies. They don't pretend to be sophisticated. In fact, they're very gritty in a way.

Does anyone else enjoy Grindhouse movies? Also, I've heard these new ones were made in homage of the old grindhouse movies...does anyone know how those were?

I enjoyed both of those films, but I don't generally like those types of films.

I love old 70s B-Movies. I thought the 2 full-length films were okay. Death Proof was just wayyy to long with some boring stretches. Planet Terror was more fun but not that Grindhouse-y.
I would have liked it if they released the theatrical version with the DVDs, so you could get the whole cool experience with the fake movie trailers and such.
