Slumdog Millionaire - i heard this was a really good movie. it would be interesting to see an upset this year.

Best Actress (Drama):
Anne Hathaway – Rachel Getting Married
Angelina Jolie – Changeling
Meryl Streep – Doubt
Kristin Scott Thomas – I've Loved You So Long
Kate Winslet – Revolutionary Road

Best Actor (Drama):
Leonardo DiCaprio – Revolutionary Road
Frank Langella – Frost/Nixon
Sean Penn – Milk
Brad Pitt – The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button

I'm gonna go out on a limb here. I'll just cover the major nominations, which usually forecast the Oscar nominations.

I think the winners will be:

Best Picture - Frost/Nixon
Best Actor - Sean Penn
Best Actress - Anne Hathaway
Best Supporting Actor - Phillip Seymour Hoffman (Naw, I don't see Heath Ledger winning. Although I really hope he does)
Best Supporting Actress - Kate Winslet (finally!)
Best Animated Film - Wall-E (duh)
Best Director - Ron Howard

Honestly, I forgot all about Heath Ledger. I heard it's only been once when a dead actor won an acting award. Hoffman is a very good actor but I would like to see Ledger win for sentimental reasons.
