Which Deserves to Win More? Wall-E or Kung Fu Panda?
We're watching the Golden Globes now and in most of the predictions we've heard, they're saying Wall-E will win. Apparently, it's the more "intellectual" film.
My husband and I are rooting for Kung Fu Panda. I know Wall-E tackles the bigger issues like the environment and obesity. But Kung Fu Panda has it's timeless values that it's trying to teach too. We just think it's Dreamworks' year this year and we're hoping the panda wins. Who are you rooting for?

 I'm with you on this one snookumsnort, I thought "Kung Fu Panda" was a much better movie than "Wall-E"... I thought "Wall-E" was kinda boring at times... I caught myself wishing it would move on along a coulpe of times... You know like "We have watched him pick up enough trash now, lets move on with the story"... Yea I definitely think "Kung Fu Panda" was a all around better move...

So why did Wall-E win? Sometime I think it's because Pixar / Disney might have more clout than Dreamworks...know what I mean?

dont hate me for it but i think wall-e was really funny and good
kung fu panda wasnt my thing i do martial arts (what one? take a hint its in the name of the film) but i didnt like kfp much its to childish

 Greenlantern you say that kfp was much to childish... HELLO !!! I think there both suppose to be children's movies... To me Wall-E was just a ol sappy love story, where as kfp was exciting and funny... Snookumsnort I think Wall-E won out because of the clean up the environment and obesity thing... These are subjects that are forefront in the minds of the American public... But I think kfp was a better movie for the audience it was intended for...  ftw

 Wall-E may very well be based on what will and is true, but kfp is based on make-believe, comedy, and silliness... Kids don't want to watch a boring love story with serious undertones, they want to watch a movie that is fun to watch... And lantern I have no fear of your might, I could cause you to drown with the mere wave of my paw...
