Do you have to watch CSI Miami episodes in order?

I recently got into CSI Miami while watching it on A&E one night. Since the show has so many seasons do i have to watch them all to understand what's going on or each episode just deals with a different crime and there is no need to watch them in order

Nah, you don't need to watch them in order to enjoy them.. but of course, with any series, if you become a die-hard, then it's always nice to start from the beginning and watch how the characters unfold and grow over time. If you have Netflix, check and see if they have the season series... better yet, if you have netflix and the ability to stream it (ie through an xbox or set top player) then chances are you may be able to watch them via instant stream to your tv.

If you like CSI - have you watched NCIS yet? I have found myself terribly more engaged with that show than I ever was with CSI.
