Aperio and I were talking about this the other day on this subject... And my favorite games are team war fighting games played online using team speak... Once you have played other people online, all the games where you play the computer are pretty much obsolete... Playing other people is much harder, they don't do the same old thing every time... And with team speak, you and everyone on your team has a microphone and headphones so you can talk to one another and coordinate your plan of attack... But I myself have stoped playing, its to addictive... I get started and I can't stop playing... lol !!! ![]()

First person shooters are really my game of choice (xbox360) ... but I also enjoy some sports games (though admittedly I pretty much suck at them). I recently picked up a cheap SIM type game for the PC while on vacation (really it was to play it with my niece and nephews) but I have become unusually addicted to it. It's a very casual sim game that runs in 'real time' (so to speak) called Virtual Villagers... Quite frankly, i'm surprised i've taken to it as much as I have.

Hi, my name is Munchkin and I'm a WoW addict. And no, I don't play a gnome, despite the size, hehe, but it's definitely one of the reasons I don't watch as many movies as I used to. Even before I got really into RPGs (and especially WoW), I was simply hooked on the internet in general, so I've played a huge variety of games.

The Playstation 3 is no longer $600. it's $499. They're discontinuing the 80 GB model and bringing in a new model this half of the year obviously, (what else is new) so that I do hold against Sony. They make a model, then discontinue it six months later. They've had a 20, 40 (which is still around, but no backwards compatibility), a 60, and now an 80 - and probably a 120 coming in soon. The Playstation 3 has more powerful hardware, just the full capabilities are nowhere being used. Many interviews and Sony representatives have said that as well. |
