the lowest price iv found is $249.99... is that about right? and is it cheaper to buy online or in an actual store? and i have a gamecube...can i upgrade to a Wii and get money off the Wii?

Trade in your gamecube for a discount on a used wii (wii plays gamecube games) that should be cheapest

5.Wait till the price drops

Are you even finding semi decent deals on any Wii lately? I poked my mind out trying to find one awhile back then gave up and just got a new 360 instead.
