Default What old games need a sequel?

Do you remember how back in the NES days, there were so many interesting games being made...and you remember how some of them never even got one sequel, let alone several?

I can think of quite a few games that would make for interesting sequels.

Anyone remember Star Tropics 1 and 2 by Nintendo? Now that was one hell of a fun adventure series, set in a fairly unique setting...especially for that time period.

Another interesting game was Kid Chamelon by Sega for their Genesis system.

A kid gets trapped in a video game and has to beat it to get out again.

There are so many others like this, and there is a lot of potential for good sequels or remakes I think.

well i know that toejam and earl esacpe from planet funkitron (i believe was the whole title) for sega was a sequel to the first just regular toejam and earl...but i still think they should have made more sequels because that game was awesome (the sequel, not the original lol)

I'd actually rather not see remakes, but maybe a few sequels. I enjoyed the Mario Brothers series and their updated sequels aren't 'that' bad, so I could see it working with others.

The Turok series died because of Acclaim going out of business.

Of course we all remember Acclaims track record for good games, although they did look to be improving quality standards a little in their latter years.

The fact remains that they made a lot of poor business decisions, and that's what did them in the most I guess.
