Diablo III

By now most of you probably already heard about the announcement of Diablo III which was made yesterday. As this has been one of the games I have been most anticipating, I am personally very excited! We knew the game had to be made eventually, but who had any idea how soon it would be?

I tried to find a price on the game, but this is all that I found...
"Pricing and availability for Diablo III will be
determined and announced closer to the release of the game."
I did see one place that said they were going to reduce there
Diablo II games to half price the day that Diablo III went on sell...
lol !!!

Well this is definately one of the better snippets of news i've heard lately. Guess it all depends on wether they will keep to the old formula or introduce something new that might alter the whole feel of the game. If it playes like Diablo II, chances are good i will turn geek for a good while.

Oh yes Carl, when I look into my crystal ball I see a Diablo III game in your future...
I see you having many hours of fun playing this game... Your fingers will grow tried
and cramped from pushing buttons on the controller... I can see your wife calling you
to come eat, I see your saying "Just let me finish this level"... I see your wife calling you
to bed and you telling her you will be there in a few minutes... I see a cat at your bedroom window,
oops never mind that cat you just go on and play your game...

Well no worries about any sudden interruptions here, there's not a female within earshot on my end & ... I guess i will have to keep a lookout for one that gently knocks on the door, and tells me the dinner is ready in a soft soothing voice, and procceds to feed me, taking great care not to shove anything in my face when im fighting off all those pesky demon spawns.

On a slightly more serious note though, the preview of the game seems to be pretty much the same old fashion style from what i've seen. And looks really great, guess the release wont come for a long time yet though. So the wife scenario might even be a reality lmao!

You see, I was just really hoping that Diablo III would have been announced a few years back now.As it stands, we are unlikely to see Diablo III before late 2009 at the earliest which still works out to quite the wait. Even still, I am just happy to finally see something for the game announced!

At first, i had hoped the splash screen was WOTLK Then they announced it as Diablo III. Owell. Ill still buy the game ;D

One somewhat major disappointment for me is that the Necromancer may not be in the game. Blizzard didn't say they were out for certain, but the Witch Doctor looks to be filling their character role to some extent. Still I hope they can manage to fit the Necromancer in somehow.
