I watched this movie over the weekend and the story line wasn't that bad, but some of the acting was. Maybe it was the writers, not sure but it was worth the buck I rented it for.

I guess it depends on what you are looking for in a movie, because something such as the subject of Beowulf was always going to be a little dry. I tried to read the poem some years ago, and gave up pretty early on-shamefully so in fact!
