We watched this flick last night with my three nieces (pre-teens) and we were all supremely disappointed. The girls really wanted to see it but it didn't even hold their attention to finish the movie. The acting was laughable and it just didn't live up to the promise by the storyline. Two thumbs down from all five of us.

Oh, I hadn't even seen the trailer for that one. It 'does' look like it could be interesting, but I'll heed your warning. Thanks!

You know I hadn't even heard of it and yet I have been on the look out for movies for my little one. Though that said it seems a bit older than would be suitable anyway, but perhaps that is the trouble-they tried to branch too much.

Everyone I know who has seen it said they loved it, or at the very least enjoyed it. My sister saw it with a few friends and they liked it. They are all around 16 though. My parents thought it was ok.

I still havent had a chance to see it, but a few school mates saw it and liked it. So perhaps it just isnt enough to hold the attention of the younger crowd but it does seem to have some audience that likes it.

I need to rent it again through netflix because last time I did my parents watched it and returned it before I had the chance to watch it. Extremely irritating.

I didn't think it was so bad myself. Probably not as good for the younger folk, but not too bad for me. I saw it the week before it came out coincidentally while my sister-in-law did my taxes. We raided her early releases from the movie store she manages to keep us from being bored.
